Almost Friday!!

Well thursday is over and tomorrow is friday! This i am very excited about... Work is getting better, now that i understand whats going on. I basically know the system now and am not overwhelmed plus i got my first paycheck today!! One thing that is difficult is that i have a very bad back (3 ruptured disks from a previous work injury in 2001) so working 8 hour days has aggrivated it but hey what can you do we have to pay bills :) I can't wait till Mike and I's home business (www.h2htrainers.com) takes off more and we can just work on that out of the house. Then we can start thinking about having babies. Which is great cause I have been bitten by the wanna have a baby bug! LOL But i'm keeping it under cover for now.... theres plenty time for that in the future..lets just hope its more the near future than the far.. ;)

I owe, I owe, so off to work I go...

well i have been employed for 2 days now. Lets just say its not easy to get used to the new scheldule. My old scheldule consisted of staying up to 4 in the morning then getting up at almost 11... New scheldule i have to be up by 6am so i am trying to go to bed before 11.

I don't have a cubicle like i thought i would, i'm actually shoved in a circle of desks, on one part it would be very nice to have some personal space and room, but then again i can chat a little where i am now and have met a nice girl to talk with.

Parking is a whole different issue. Since this is a big building downtown, there isn't any parking except meters, or parkinglots where you pay $56 for the month and still have to walk a few blocks. Well all of the garages are full so my choice for now is pay the $11 a day in meters, or have my husband pick me up and drop me off.... we chose the latter. That is going well, except for my first day when he fell asleep and forgot to pick me up. I was standing outside the building in the cold, with crazy bums trying to talk to me for over a half hour. But i couldn't be too mad, it was his birthday. Let just say today i set an alarm on his cell phone to remind him to pick me up..lol

One Resolution Accomplished

I got a job!!!

I start Tuesday (Monday is Martin Luther King Day) working 40 hours a week. I have been job hunting for quite a while but have had trouble in my city getting an office job without being bilingual. There's nothing glamorous about my new job, I will be in a cubicle typing data, but I don't care.

My husband took me out last night to get a few "business casual" outfits... Had to look the definition of that one up on the internet after they informed me of the dress code. I haven't ever taken him clothes shopping before because he gets all weird just shopping at target, but he said he was proud of me so he would go last night. We walked into Kohls and his eyes opened wide... I walked to the business casual (lol that's my new term) department and he started pacing back and forth and glancing at the exit... I saw that they had a great clearance going on and started sorting through the racks.. He looks faint.... lol so I was more than happy to oblige when he asked if I cared if he walked down to Borders Books... No honey go right ahead. So after 40 minutes he called me asking if I was done yet, I actually was almost..He walked over at met up with me. As we walked out I remarked wow I did great tonight.... Under an hour found a pair of dress pants, two sweaters and two shells to go under them all on sale. He said it was only an hour!!! Felt like 3......lol so moral of this story is NEVER TAKE YOUR HUSBAND SHOPPING even if he is trying to be nice.

Crap, just thought of something..... this job stuff is totally gonna cut in on my Blog Explosion time! LOL

MY BACHELORETTE PARTY!!

This is where the day starts

*We all drive from our different towns to meet at our Double Tree Hotel room

Dinner.... cause ya gotta eat before ya drink

* There was a cute resteraunt across the street from the hotel so we walked over for dinner ... the food was good but the company was great! I really miss getting to hang out with my friends like this... everybody is married and/or with kids so this day was really special.

*Next we went to a Dance Club... First they had Comedy which we didn't really care about, so we started drinking and taking pictures. This guy got in our shot but we didn't know him.

*After Dinner we went back to the hotel room to start getting ready to go out. While we were primping/plucking/straightening/applying makeup/switching clothes/spritzing/accessorizing and all the other things girls do when they are getting ready to go out for a night on the town, The girls gave me some Naughty Gift Baskets filled with all sorts of hot goodies for the honeymoon!! (Mike says thanks! LOL)

We Danced and Danced and Drank and Drank...... I was absolutely trashed but hey aren't ya supposed to be at your last night out as a single woman?!?

*Well after hours of drinking and dancing our feet were literally killing us. We walked back the 7 blocks to the hotel room. We did have a group of 3 gentlemen offer to be our private strippers for the night but we declined graciously.. And told them to meet us there at the same time next year... LOL would be funny if they actually showed up cause I know we won't. We quietly as we could (not very) got up to our room..... But we did happen to find this wheelchair in the hall which we took turns giving eachother rides in.

(2 am) We found a wheelchair in the hall of the hotel after we got back from club..

OUCH Feet after long night of dancing

*When we got back we were in pretty bad shape..... Hmmm maybe were too old for this.....lol

*So we piled into the bathtub and all soaked our feet in the luke warm water...... That felt sooo nice.... and who'd think that 5 girls would fit in a small double tree bathtub!

This was the best day i could have imagined.......i'm soo lucky to have such great friends! We have to do this again sometime! p.s. next time i'm wearing more comfy shoes!

MY BRIDAL SHOWER!!!

My Bridesmaids threw me a great bridal shower!! Lots of friends and family showed, we ate tons of yummy food (I even sorta went off my pre-wedding strict diet to eat a piece of cake), played great games, and I got tons of wonderful gifts!!

Everything was so beautiful!! There were rose petals everywhere!!

* We played lots of games including this one where we split off into 3 groups of 5 and each group decorated a beautiful bride out of toilet paper...... this was hilarious to watch... i was the judge.. My sister (girl on the farthest right won!)

After the shower I was able to give my bridesmaids the great presents i had bought them to thank them for being in my wedding! I think they loved them!!

Isn't she the cutest? I think she is a bit confused about the difference between the X-mas tree and the ones she climbs outside and possibly thinks i set the whole thing up just for her inside including the fun toys (ornaments) i set up for her to knock down and/or break. Lets just say she wasn't happy when we took it down.

Me and the year to come

Well, I'm not exactly sure what to write about in my blog, but for some reason i'm very excited that I have one. I told my mom about it and she said isn't it kinda like a diary.....Cindy, are you letting people read your diary? LOL shes so cute.... I said not exactly mom I think its a place where you can write about whatever you want and as personal as you want it to be. So i've been thinking.. For 2005 I have some goals... or resolutions i guess you could call them

* Find a job (started the hunt already)
* Lose that last 10-15 pounds
* Start keeping a neater house (i'm a slob by nature so this takes a lot or work for me)
* Try to climb out of debt
* and maybe just maybe... by end of 2005 start trying to have a baby!!

I think most of it is pretty obtainable we'll see.....

I was married 10/23/2004 so that makes me a definite newlywed (2 months) Being married is great for the most part... theres upsides and down..
